Qatar Charity and Lusail University signed a cooperation and partnership agreement in the fields of education, training, research and studies related to development and humanitarian work. Faisal bin Rashid Al-Fahida, Assistant CEO of Programs and Community Development Sector at Qatar Charity, said that this agreement stems from Qatar Charity’s awareness of the importance of cooperation in achieving sustainable development goals and enhancing humanitarian response efforts in light of the increasing crises and disasters around the world and the importance of cooperation with the academic community for what it provides. From the great benefit of the scientific approach in understanding and diagnosing problems and finding solutions to them, in addition to strengthening the capabilities of human resources to raise their efficiency.

For her part, Mrs. Sheikha Marafie, Vice President of Lusail University for Financial and Administrative Affairs, expressed her happiness with this agreement, which was made with Qatar Charity in order to support education efforts, stressing that this agreement contributes to highlighting the effective role of the State of Qatar in achieving Qatar National Vision 2030 and the sustainable development goals. The bright human face of the State of Qatar, and its institutions that contribute to supporting education efforts, as well as supporting the Qatar Center at the global level in this field at the same time.

This agreement comes within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between Qatar Charity and Lusail University, which aims to cooperate in various research fields of common interest by both parties and which constitute a national strategic priority, such as work on conflict issues, education and training issues, research and applied studies related to development and work. humanitarian.

It also included cooperation in providing workshops and training courses, translation into different languages, scholarships, vocational training and employment for Lusail University students, in addition to cooperation in the field of education and training of executive leaders for Qatar Charity employees through Lusail University.
