An Incomplete grade is granted to students who are not able to complete all course requirements or do not attend the final exam due to an acceptable excuse.

Before the final grades are announced by the faculty member, students must communicate with their course instructors and provide them with the required documents to justify their excuse for absence. If it is a medical excuse, it must be approved by a health center in the State of Qatar.

In case the course instructor approves the excuse given by the student, the student will receive an incomplete grade, and the instructor should coordinate with him/her to take the exam during the dates specified in the academic calendar.

The last date for submitting an incomplete grade change is the last day of the first week of the following semester.

If a student does not complete the course requirements within the specified period, the incomplete grade “I” converts to an “F”.
