The minimum academic load for a student during the Fall and Spring semesters is (12) credit hours, and the maximum is (18) credit hours.

The maximum academic load for a student with an academic probation is 12 credit hours.

Students with a GPA of (3.75) and above are allowed to register for 21 credit hours during the Fall and Spring semesters.

During the graduation semester, students may register for any number of credit hours required for graduation without regard to the minimum prescribed academic load.

Students in their last semester prior to graduating with a bachelor’s degree may register for 9 credit hours in the summer semester. Students in their last semester prior to graduating with a bachelor’s degree will only be allowed to register for 12 credit hours during the summer semester but must provide approval from an appropriate committee.
