Students are accepted in the academic programs based on:

  • The program for which the student is applying for.

    The program for which the student is applying for.

  • High School GPA.

Academic Programs – Arabic Track

Students must demonstrate proficiency in the Arabic language, which is assessed by the following:
  • The student is considered to have met the requirements if his/her high school GPA is (65%) or higher.

  • If the student’s high school GPA is between (60% -64%), the student’s Arabic language score in the secondary school certificate must be (70%) or higher.

  • If the student's score is (70%) or higher in the Arabic language course, the student is exempted from taking a placement test and can register for college level courses.

  • Students that are enrolled in Arabic Language Foundation courses will be allowed to register for some college level courses at the same time, provided that the total number of credit hours during the semester does not exceed (12) credit hours.

Academic BA Programs – English Track

Students must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, which is assessed by the following:
  • The student is considered to have met the requirements if his/her high school GPA is (65%) or higher.

  • The student is exempted from taking a placement test if he/she has obtained a grade of (C) in three subjects, including two course requirements in the A-Level, CIMP or IB test, or its equivalent.
