- A student must submit a withdrawal request form before the semester begins, provided there are substantiating evidence that validate the withdrawal.
- A new student is not allowed to withdraw from his/her first semester of enrollment, unless he/she has passed one semester since joining the university.
- The withdrawal period is not counted within the time required to complete the graduation requirements.
- A student is allowed to withdraw from the semester after the add-and-drop period until the seventh week of the Fall and Spring semesters. In this case, the student shall receive a grade of “W” on his/her record. In addition, the courses will not be counted in terms of pass, fail and graduation requirements.
- A student is not allowed to withdraw from the university for more than four semesters, and in the event of an emergency health condition, the student can submit a request to the appropriate committee for consideration.
- All students must abide by all deadlines set in the academic calendar.
