Admission Requirements- College of Law

The Arabic language track

Applicant must be proficient in the Arabic language, and is considered to meet the admission requirements if he/she:
  • Has obtained an average of (65%) or higher in the Qatari High School Diploma.

  • Is a graduate of private or government schools inside or outside the State of Qatar where the teaching language is Arabic and has obtained an average of (65%) or higher.

    Is a graduate of private or government schools inside or outside the State of Qatar where the teaching language is Arabic and has obtained an average of (65%) or higher.

  • Has obtained an average between (60%-64%) in the High School Diploma or its equivalent, and his/her score is (70%) or higher in the Arabic language course.

    Has obtained an average between (60%-64%) in the High School Diploma or its equivalent, and his/her score is (70%) or higher in the Arabic language course.

In the event that the above admission requirements are not met, the applicant must take an Arabic language placement test by Lusail University, in the following cases:
  • Applicant’s average in the High School Diploma or its equivalent is between (60%-64%) and the student’s score is less than (70%) in the Arabic language course.

    Applicant’s average in the High School Diploma or its equivalent is between (60%-64%) and the student’s score is less than (70%) in the Arabic language course.

  • Applicant's average is less than (65%) in the High School Diploma or its equivalent from private or government schools inside or outside the State of Qatar in which the teaching language is Arabic.

    Applicant's average is less than (65%) in the High School Diploma or its equivalent from private or government schools inside or outside the State of Qatar in which the teaching language is Arabic.

  • Applicant is a graduate of international or private schools inside or outside the State of Qatar in which the teaching language is a language other than Arabic (English, French,) (regardless of the high school diploma average).

    Applicant is a graduate of international or private schools inside or outside the State of Qatar in which the teaching language is a language other than Arabic (English, French,) (regardless of the high school diploma average).

The French language track:

Applicant must be proficient in the French language and is considered to meet the admission requirements if he/she:
  • Holds a French baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a Francophone (French) school with an average of 65% or higher.

    Holds a French baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a Francophone (French) school with an average of 65% or higher.

In the event that the above admission requirements are not met, the applicant must take a placement test in the French language by Lusail University in the following cases:
  • Applicant holds a High School Diploma from a non-francophone school.

    Applicant holds a High School Diploma from a non-francophone school.

  • Applicant has obtained an average of less than 65% in the French Baccalaureate or its equivalent from a francophone school.

    Applicant has obtained an average of less than 65% in the French Baccalaureate or its equivalent from a francophone school.
