





Qatar Charity and Lusail University signed a cooperation and partnership agreement in the fields of education, training, research, and studies related to development and humanitarian work. The agreement was signed by Mr. Faisal bin Rashid Al-Fehaida, Assistant CEO for the Programs and Community Development Sector at Qatar Charity, and Ms. Sheikha Abdulrazzaq Marafi, Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs at Lusail University. The signing was attended by Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity.
Mr. Faisal bin Rashid Al-Fehaida stated that this agreement stems from Qatar Charity's awareness of the importance of cooperation in achieving sustainable development goals and enhancing humanitarian response efforts. He emphasized the importance of collaborating with the academic community for its scientific approach to understanding and solving problems, in addition to enhancing human resource capabilities. Ms. Sheikha Marafi expressed her happiness with the agreement, noting that it contributes to highlighting Qatar's effective role in achieving Qatar National Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals, as well as supporting Qatar's global position in education.
The agreement aims to cooperate in various research fields of mutual interest that constitute a national strategic priority, such as conflict issues, education and training, and applied research related to development and humanitarian work. The cooperation also includes providing workshops, training courses, translation into various languages, scholarship opportunities, professional training, and employment for Lusail University students, in addition to training executive leadership for Qatar Charity employees through the university.
