Mission

The Training and Continuing Education Center at Lusail University aims to support faculty and staff members to define and achieve their educational and professional goals. It offers professional development, capacity building, and lifelong learning to achieve Qatar Vision 2030.

Lusail Training

Center Objectives

1. Enhance the performance efficiency of staff at Lusail University and in the wider community through the development of diverse training plans and programs that achieve the center’s goals.
2. Organize training activities that promote a culture of quality assurance, evaluation, and accreditation in coordination with counterpart units within and outside the university.
3. Develop effective methods for implementing and evaluating training courses of all types.
4. Design training packages in a systematic and organized manner.
5. Develop and update information and resources for training programs, utilizing modern and diverse technologies.
6. Provide faculty members and staff at the university with all professionally published materials to support professional performance development.
7. Establish agreements with counterpart institutions in higher education within Qatar and abroad to serve the interests of the university and the center.
8. Strengthen relationships with companies to provide necessary training that helps individuals and institutions in the Qatari community enhance their performance.
9. Organize faculty and researcher exchanges between the university and counterpart institutions with shared interests and objectives within Qatar and internationally.

Registration Steps

Step 1: Application
Fill out the registration form for the course that you would like to register via the link for the course.
Step 2: Payment
Complete the payment listed in the schedule of offered courses by visiting the Finance Department in person, located on the ground floor of the Boys’ Building at Lusail University. Payment can be made by bank card or in cash.
Step 3: Confirmation
The Center for Training and Continuing Education sends a registration confirmation email to the address provided in the form, including all details related to the training course.

Program Objectives:

  • Prepare international students who are non-native Arabic speakers to enroll in various university programs.
  • Meet the increasing demand for learning Arabic from non-native speakers.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of the Arabic language and enhance its global role and status.
  • Contribute to the cultural dialogue between nations, promote Arab-Islamic culture, and strengthen its global presence.
  • Contribute to training Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers.
  • Bridge cooperation with community institutions in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
  • Attract specialized professionals in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.

Terms and conditions:

  • • The course instructions will be sent exclusively by email one week before the course start date.
  • • All courses are subject to sufficient enrollment of participants.
  • • The electronic certificate of attendance will be emailed on the final day of the course provided the participant has attended a minimum of 70% of the classes.
  • • All credit cards can be used for payment.
  •  • Lusail University does not retain credit card numbers or expiration dates.
  • • Payment and refunds are processed in Qatari Riyals.
