Lusail University Honors Distinguished Students

Lusail University organized two ceremonies to honor male and female students distinguished on the Dean's List and the University Provost's List for the academic year 2021-2022. This comes as part of the university's efforts to celebrate the scientific excellence of its students and urge them to continue their success and develop their academic performance. During the ceremony, (7) male students on the Provost's List and (21) on the Dean's List were honored from the College of Commerce and Business, the College of Law, and the College of Education and Arts. A separate ceremony was held for female students, where (20) students on the Provost's List and (54) on the Dean's List were honored across various colleges.

The distinguished students received certificates of appreciation from the University Provost and the Deans of their respective colleges in recognition of their achievements. Dr. Nitham Hindi, University Provost, expressed his happiness in celebrating the second batch of distinguished students on the Provost's List for the 2021-2022 academic year, stating: "These students have worked hard and maintained a high GPA, deserving distinction through their effort." He added that the university celebrates their hard work and determination to become high achievers.

It is worth noting that the Provost's List is an academic reward to commend significant undergraduate achievements, issued at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters. Requirements include a minimum semester GPA of 3.8, an academic load of at least 15 credit hours, passing all courses with a final grade of (B) or higher (excluding Pass/Fail courses), and completing at least 30 earned hours. Additionally, the student must not have received any disciplinary penalties or warnings throughout their enrollment at the university.
