





In the presence and honor of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport, Lusail University and Qatar Aeronautical Academy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint cooperation in related fields. This agreement, signed on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Lusail University headquarters, aims to enhance academic partnerships, training, and integrated education paths. It seeks to expand cooperation in academic, training, and research fields, contributing to the exchange of expertise and knowledge, developing educational programs, and supporting students and graduates in line with labor market needs and Qatar National Vision 2030.
The cooperation includes exchanging teaching and training expertise, facilitating access to information resources through shared library databases, providing joint training opportunities, and organizing student, sports, cultural, and social activities. H.E. Sheikh Jabor bin Hamad Al Thani, Director General of Qatar Aeronautical Academy, stated: "We are pleased to sign this MoU, which represents an important step toward expanding academic and training cooperation. This agreement comes within the framework of our shared commitment to developing national competencies and supporting scientific research through academic bridging programs."
For his part, Professor Dr. Nitham Hindi, President of Lusail University, emphasized that this memorandum represents a qualitative step in the cooperation path between the two institutions. He noted that the academic bridging program will grant graduates of the Qatar Aeronautical Academy specialized educational opportunities that enhance their career paths and open broader horizons for development. This cooperation confirms the commitment of both institutions to their role in serving education and society, enhancing integration between academic and applied education in the State of Qatar.
