





October 12, 2023 (Doha) – Based on a shared vision toward enhancing university education, Lusail University and Education Above All (EAA) Foundation signed a cooperation agreement aimed at empowering resident youth who have spent most of their lives in the country to obtain scholarships through the Qatar Scholarship Program. This program is implemented by EAA in cooperation with the General Department of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The agreement was signed by Ms. Fatima Al-Musleh, Vice President of Lusail University for Student Affairs, and Mr. Talal Al-Hathal, Director of EAA’s Al Fakhoora program. The agreement stipulates cooperation between the two parties to provide scholarships for students at Lusail University and to enhance coordination in other areas of common interest. EAA aims to change the world by providing educational opportunities for children and youth, believing that education is the best way to escape poverty and establish societies that enjoy justice and peace.
Ms. Fatima Al-Musleh stated that Lusail University pays great attention to the students' interests and is keen on supporting them to continue their university studies. She expressed her happiness in cooperating with the EAA Foundation through the Al Fakhoora program, emphasizing that this cooperation serves the interests of students who form the basic pillar of the educational process.
For his part, Mr. Talal Al-Hathal said: "Education Above All Foundation considers education a bridge to achieving sustainable development and building more just and prosperous societies. We are proud of the partnership with Lusail University, one of the prestigious universities in the country, to achieve this shared vision. The cooperation in the Qatar Scholarship Program will enable many young people to access higher education, paving the way for them to be future leaders and drivers of change in their communities."
It is noted that the "Qatar Scholarship Program in Qatar" provides scholarships for youth aged 17 to 25 who have spent most of their lives in the country, allowing them to complete their higher education in universities based in Doha. The program is supported by the Endowment Fund for Scientific and Cultural Development.
