





Lusail University launched today, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the Cyber Challenge competition for Qatari students at the university, "LU Cyber Challenge 2024," in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Agency and in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This comes as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance awareness of the importance of cybersecurity and develop youth skills in this vital field.
This competition falls within the university's vision to promote awareness of cybersecurity importance and develop the skills of Qatari students in this area, in line with the vision of the State of Qatar in the field of information technology.
Regarding the importance of the award, Professor Dr. Imad Khaled Salah, Dean of the College of Information Technology at Lusail University, explained that this competition is a golden opportunity for our dear students to enhance their skills and expand their knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, which is one of the most important challenges facing the contemporary digital world.
He emphasized that the fruitful cooperation between Lusail University and the National Cyber Security Agency aims to encourage Qatari students to acquire new skills, develop their capabilities in the field of cybersecurity, and promote critical thinking and problem-solving related to digital security.
Dr. Imad said that the participants will have the opportunity to learn and develop by benefiting from the instructions and guidance provided by experts in the field of cybersecurity, in addition to an opportunity to learn about the latest technical developments in this field through the presence of a group of international information technology companies.
