As part of its efforts to expand horizons of international cooperation, strengthen strategic partnerships, and design academic programs in leading technological fields, Lusail University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a leading Chinese technology company, aiming to collaborate in the areas of innovation, education, and knowledge exchange.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aref Al-Shurayda, Dean of the College of Information Technology at Lusail University, and Mr. Wong Hongsheng, General Manager of the company.
The memorandum aims to enhance academic and technical cooperation between the two parties in the design of a bachelor’s degree program in Drone Engineering and Programming (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles – UAVs), as well as to explore opportunities for joint projects in the fields of artificial intelligence and civil drone technologies.
This agreement comes as part of Lusail University’s strategy to keep pace with the latest technological advancements and to offer academic programs that meet the requirements of the labor market at both the local and international levels
