A group of students from the International Affairs and Public Policy program, and Political Science from the College of Education and Arts, accompanied by Dr. Adel Al-Hawatmeh, visited the Qatar Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on November 18, 2024. Dr. Adel conveyed the greetings and thanks of the President and the Dean of the College to the Institute’s management for adopting an open-door policy and facilitating student visits that enrich the students' cognitive and professional experience.
The students listened to a detailed presentation by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute, about the most important activities carried out by the Institute and the roles assigned to it in terms of qualifying human resources within various programs. These programs aim to prepare them in a way that enables them to perform their assigned roles and represent their country in the best possible manner.
At the end of the visit, a constructive discussion and dialogue took place between the students and the Director of the Institute regarding many important issues related to the Institute and Qatari foreign policy. The students were also gifted a diverse collection of valuable books, marking the conclusion of a successful educational field visit that bridges academic learning with diplomatic practice.
