College of Law at Lusail University Holds the First Female Students Forum

The College of Law at Lusail University held its first Female Students Forum, organized by the Legal Clinic and the Moot Court, on Thursday, 11 November 2025, with the attendance of a number of female students and faculty members.

The forum featured an exhibition of presentations prepared by students, highlighting the initiatives and contributions of civil society organizations in Qatar. Twelve organizations participated, including Qatar Charity Regulatory Authority, Qatar Charity, DREIMA (Qatar Foundation for Social Care), Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Deaf, Eid Charity, Ehsan (Qatar Foundation for Elderly Care), Qatar Red Crescent, Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs, Zakat Fund, Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, Education Above All Foundation, Qatar Foundation for the Protection of Women and Children, and the Motherhood and Childhood Cultural Center.

The forum also included presentations on Qatari national courts, including the courts of the Qatar Financial Centre, and a review of prominent judicial rulings issued in accordance with international standards and conventions ratified by the State of Qatar, based on Articles (6) and (68) of the Qatari Constitution.

During the forum, a number of volunteer lawyers who collaborated with the Legal Clinic in providing legal consultations and supporting vulnerable groups within Qatari society were honored. In this context, Dr. Ali Al-Kubaisi, Dean of the College of Law at Lusail University, emphasized that this forum reflects the college’s commitment to enhancing practical legal education and developing students’ applied legal skills, aiming to prepare a promising legal generation capable of competing in the labor market and serving the Qatari community.
