Admission Requirements: Master of Arts in International Affairs and Public Policy
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a university approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar.
- The cumulative GPA upon graduation must not be less than 2.8 or its equivalent.
- If the cumulative GPA upon graduation is between (2.79-2.0) or its equivalent, the applicant must have a minimum of three years of post-graduation work experience.
The preferred degree should be in social sciences, humanities, economics, policy and planning, public administration, or a related field.
Applicants who don’t meet the admission criteria will receive conditional admission. They will be required to take and successfully complete a total of 9 credit hours of the following bridging courses at Lusail University with a grade of C and above:

Applicants applying to the English track program must show proof of English language competency
through IELTS (minimum score of 5.5) or TOEFL (minimum score of 46-59).
Applicants must submit an online application that includes:
- A copy of the academic qualifications and CV.
- A copy of the passport, and Qatari citizens and residents of Qatar must provide a valid Qatari ID card.
- The certificate equivalency from the the Ministry of Education and Higher Education must be submitted if the obtained university degree is from outside of Qatar
- The applicant must submit an experience certificate if their university GPA is less than 2.8 or its equivalent.
Two letters of recommendation from former or current professors, employers, or other individuals familiar with the applicant’s qualifications
The recommendation letters should be sent directly via email to Lusail University.
Applicants must pass the personal interview with the scientific committee.
