Admission Requirements

Arabic Language Track (Local Students):

The applicant must demonstrate linguistic competence in Arabic and is considered to meet requirements if:

  • The applicant has an average of (65%) or higher in the Qatar Senior School Certificate or its equivalent (graduates of private or government schools inside or outside Qatar where Arabic is the language of instruction).
  • If the average is below (65%), but the student achieved (70%) or higher in the Arabic language course.
  • Arabic speakers from private schools (inside or outside Qatar) where instruction is not in Arabic, with a 65% average or higher.

In case of not meeting the above, a placement test is required. Based on the degree:

  • Passing the level exam and continuing studies in the academic program.
  • Enrollment in the Arabic Foundation Program. (Students may register up to 12 credit hours).
English Language Track:

Minimum 65% average for IT College applicants (Exempt for Education, Arts, Commerce and Business).

  • IELTS score of (5.5) or higher.
  • OR graduates from private/international/government schools where English is the instruction language with 65% average or higher.

Otherwise, a placement test determines entry (Academic or Foundation - Max 12 credit hours).

French Language Track:
  • French Baccalaureate or equivalent from a Francophone school with 65% or higher.
  • Non-Francophone graduates must take a French Placement Test and then join the foundation year.
Transfer & Visiting Students:

Transfer: University must be recognized by the Ministry of Education in Qatar. Must meet competency and provide certified transcripts and course descriptions.

Visiting: Must be a regular student in another recognized Qatari institution and provide proof of enrollment.

Admission Documents

Local Students:
  • Copy of Qatar Senior School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Copy of Qatari ID and Passport.
  • Personal photo (Grey background).
  • Medical check-up (after admission).
  • Equivalency for private schools inside/outside Qatar.
Transfer & Visiting:
  • Certified, final, and sealed transcript.
  • Course descriptions stamped by the college.
  • Proof of enrollment (for visiting students).

Tuition Fees

Fees are based on registered credit hours per semester. Payment is required before registering for subsequent semesters.

  • Admission Fee: 100 QAR
  • Placement Test Fee: 150 QAR per test.
  • Student Services Fee: 2500 QAR (One-time).

Bridging Program (Parallel Education)

Allows Parallel Education graduates to join Arabic-track Bachelor programs in Law, Education, Arts, and Business.

Requirements:
  • Pass the Arabic Foundation course (Hours not counted for Bachelor).
  • Register 6 credit hours including Success in University.
  • Achieve GPA 2.0 or higher. Application rejected if not met in two semesters.
