Admission requirements and selection criteria: Graduate programs - Arabic programs

  • Obtaining a bachelor's degree from a university recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar with a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.8/4.0 or its equivalent.
  • OR completing practical experience of no less than three years after graduation from the bachelor's program if the cumulative graduation GPA is between 2 to 2.79/4.0 or its equivalent.
  • Students graduating from universities outside the State of Qatar are required to submit an equivalency of the university degree by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar.
  • Transfer students from a similar program who have successfully studied some courses (attach proof), and the statement is equated according to the regulations of the university and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar.
  • The applicant must finish filling out the electronic application through the university website.
  • Passing the personal interview before the Graduate Studies Interview Committee.

Admission requirements and selection criteria: Graduate programs - English programs

  • Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a university accredited by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar.
  • The cumulative GPA at graduation must not be less than 2.8 or its equivalent.
  • OR if the cumulative GPA at graduation is between (2.79-2.0) or its equivalent, the applicant must have practical experience of no less than three years after graduation.
  • Applicants for the program must provide proof of their English proficiency by obtaining a score of no less than 6.5 in the IELTS test, with a minimum of 6 in all skills.

The applicant for graduate programs must submit the following documents:

  • Attach a copy of the ID card.
  • Attach a copy of the passport.
  • The applicant's own Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Attach a personal photo with a grey background.
  • Two recommendation letters from previous or current professors, or employers.
  • Attach an experience certificate or proof of work if available.
  • Attach the equivalency of the university degree for graduates of universities outside the State of Qatar.

Tuition Fees

The method of paying tuition fees at Lusail University depends on the number of credit hours the student registers in each semester. The payment method is termly during the announced dates, and the student will not be allowed to register for the following semester unless all fees for the previous semester have been paid.

Admission and registration fees at the university:

  • Admission application fee (100) riyals.
  • Student services fee for university registration 2500 riyals, paid once after admission.
