College of Information Technology Message from the Dean
I am pleased to welcome you to the college of Information Technology at Lusail University.
The College of Information Technology was established in line with the University’s mission to offer academic programs that contribute to the development of trained and qualified human cadres, to keep abreast with the domestic and international labor market. This is also in conformity with the global digital transformation, in all sectors and fields. This means keeping pace with the fourth industrial revolution, which became an essential part of the lives of states, institutions and individuals, entered all aspects of daily life and became an integral part of societies.
The College of Information Technology offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in three majors: Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Game Design and Development. These majors have been carefully selected to keep pace with the rapid progress in the field of information technology globally.
The College of Information Technology at Lusail University focuses on the practical and applied aspects of these majors, by creating the necessary environment for students, by providing modern laboratories, equipped with sophisticated tools and software used in developed countries, enabling students to learn and apply practically, to gain knowledge and skills required for the labor market. This is in addition to opening the horizons for distinguished students to develop their skills and refine their knowledge in practical application, while not neglecting the basic theoretical skills.
