Readmission:
Students whose registration has been terminated due to poor academic performance (academic warnings) are entitled to apply for readmission to Lusail University based on the following conditions:
Conditions for Readmission to Lusail University:
- - The student must submit the electronic application within 10 working days of the announcement of final grades. The application will be reviewed by the competent committee to make the appropriate decision.
- - The student may be readmitted with a new academic record or have some or all of the courses and the cumulative GPA obtained before the termination of registration from the university credited to their academic record, based on the student's approval.
- - If the application is approved, the student will be readmitted under "Good" academic standing (not on warning).
- - Readmitted students may change their major in accordance with the major change policy.
- - The student must obtain a clearance (clearance certificate) before submitting the readmission application. All outstanding and remaining financial obligations to the university must be settled and finalized before readmission.
- - A student may be readmitted a maximum of three times only.
Re-registration:
Students who have discontinued their studies at the university (withdrawn for more than four semesters) and those who have withdrawn permanently may re-register in the same major or another major and choose between one of the following two options:
- - Returning with a new record, where courses studied in the previous record are not counted.
- - Or, counting the courses successfully passed, provided that the courses are calculated with their grades and included in the calculation of the cumulative GPA.
