Abdulbasit Al-Shaibei is an experienced banker; having a PHD degree in Business Administration and having a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from “University of North Carolina”. Mr. Al-Shaibei also completed the Executive Management Program at the Wharton School.  A strong proponent of Islamic banking, Mr. Al-Shaibei has supported and guided QIIB to grow the last 13 years to its current size today.  Besides his involvement in QIIB, Mr. Al-Shaibei served also as Board director for various entities government and Private.
